Elizabeth Larghan, the wife of James Larghan, found guilty on an indictment for the murder of a female infant in the parish of St Botolph, Colchester on 11th July 1803, by choking and strangling the child by binding, tying and fastening a piece of string round its neck and by putting it in a bag which she then fastened causing the child to suffocate.
